Datsko Park is where you can go to enjoy outdoor volleyball and basketball while the kids play on a fun playground. The nature center at McGough Nature Park is a lovely environment to check out with a butterfly garden, great horned owl enclosure and a panoramic intracoastal boardwalk.

As part of the Tampa Bay area, there are several nearby museums that are outside the city limits of Largo, yet close by enough for a day trip. The Museum of Fine Arts and the Florida Holocaust Museum are located in nearby St. Petersburg. Busch Gardens, a great family amusement park, and Lowry Park Zoo are both in Tampa, and the Clearwater Marine Aquarium is just north of Largo.

Shopping for your Largo apartment or yourself can be accomplished at the Largo Mall, where retailers such as Marshall's, Beall's, Michael's and Target are the anchor stores, with nearly 70 other unique stores and shops. The eight screen cinema and the numerous restaurants including Chili's and Olive Garden are a great place to end your day at the mall.

For the bookworms, or just people who love to read and research, the Largo Public Library is a beautiful place to visit for checking out books, DVDs and audio from a huge selection, but the facility itself offers so much more. The 90,000 sq.ft. center promotes "Libraries aren't just for kids!" and offers a wide range of programs to all ages throughout the year.

When you're ready to enjoy some entertainment in an incredible environment, check out the Largo Cultural Center (LCC). Offering a variety of musical, dance, and theater performances, the LCC is also a great place to hold a private function, possibly meetings, banquets or even weddings. Located in Largo Park, you can choose from nearly 150 events per year.

With great schools, easy access to the Tampa International Airport and plenty of events and fun activities to do here, you may never want to leave your Largo apartments.
